3D Product Visualization for Film

As part of the production of two films for Sandvik Coromant, Vidéa created a series of 3D-animated sequences to visualize the CoroDrill® DE10.

Based on CAD data provided by the client, the product was digitally recreated with a focus on materials, surface finish, and geometry. Through extreme close-ups, a shallow depth of field, controlled camera movements, and dramatic lighting, we were able to create cinematic product images that would have been difficult to achieve using traditional filming techniques.

The 3D animations were used both in the development video, in which Sandvik Coromant’s experts discuss the work behind the CoroDrill® DE10, and in the customer case study video, in which Hägglunds – Bosch Rexroth AB shares its experiences with the product in actual production.
