The port of the future

Interactive map of the Port of Gävle

We at Vidéa were commissioned by the Port of Gävle to produce an interactive map of the "port of the future". The map will tell about the port's various investments in logistics and energy systems. At the request of the customer, we modeled a simplified 3D world, roughly based on the real port area. We also animated clouds, vehicles and ships to bring the interactive map to life. The 3D map can be spun around, and via info points you can bring up windows with text information and images. The interactive presentation works in both desktop and mobile browsers.
